11° in Reykjavik (and a good tip)

According to the Weather Network, it was 11° in Reykjavik this morning - the forecast only goes as far as Tuesday, but they're calling for sunny and 13°.

I've been *trying* to go to bed earlier and get up earlier so the 5am wakeup (1am Toronto time) on race day won't be such a shock. Poking around on Flickr this morning I somehow found myself reading about a group of photographers who recently toured Iceland.

Found an interesting practical TRAVEL TIP:

If you plan to use your ATM card in Iceland, and most of Europe, be sure to change you pass code to 4 digits before you leave. Otherwise there's a good chance you won't be able to use it while abroad. I think this is important because ATM machines are one of the best ways to get fair exchange rates for currency while traveling.
